The Maldives is a year-round destination making it easy to plan your getaway. November to April is the peak season when the weather is at its best, though you should book in advance. The off-peak season from May to October does have rain, but it won’t be the whole day and you can still enjoy diverse adventures.

The Maldives has around 1,190 islands which can be found in 26 atolls. Interestingly, most of these islands are uninhabited; the remaining islands either have local inhabitants or a private resort.
